Varsapura Interactive Map Guide: All Collectibles, Locations, and Hidden Secrets
HoYoverse has once again pushed the boundaries of action RPGs with its latest Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) masterpiece, Varsapura. As the game reveals a supernatural modern metropolis corrupted by a black substance known as "Mind Rot," players will face a massive map-exploration challenge.
Is Varsapura another Genshin Impact? takes that 31-minute demo apart and lines it up with Genshin. Teyvat is high fantasy you can climb and glide across, and combat is a party swap: fire, water, and electro setting each other off. Varsapura is a rainy city of neon signs, holograms, and corporate corridors. The rot on the streets is Mind Rot, which the demo explains as humanity's thoughts pooling until they turn into a black, bubbling sludge. That sludge ruins blocks and births shadow monsters. You fight as one character. Light trails, combo chains, perfect dodges, aerial juggles, then a smash that clears the room. In a test chamber the demo also switches to stealth: red vision cones on the floor, a wall to hide behind, and a silent takedown.
The opening motive is harsher than a lost-sibling quest. The lead applies to a bureau called Seal and tells them she is looking for her killer. The interview then dumps her into a dark, broken space, where a senior called Mr. Shadow says a nameless lie still haunts her and that she is no hero.
For players aiming for 100% completion, upgrading their characters' combat power, or uncovering the city's secrets, a powerful Varsapura Interactive Map will be an indispensable tool. Based on the 31-minute gameplay demo and HoYoverse's consistent open-world design philosophy (seen in Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail), we've predicted the essential core modules that will undoubtedly feature on future interactive maps.
1. "Mind Rot" Contaminated Zones and Cleanup Events
In the gameplay demo, "Mind Rot" is the core mechanic that erodes reality and spawns monsters. Similar to the Withering Zones in Genshin Impact or the Hollows in Zenless Zone Zero, future interactive maps will definitely highlight:
- Mind Rot Zones: High-risk areas players need to clear, usually unlocking treasure chests or regional fast travel points upon completion.
- Dynamic Emergencies (Code Red): Just like the Code Red alarm that broke out in the Oakwood district during the demo, the map might offer location tracking for daily dynamic events.
2. SEAL Outposts and Safehouses
As an agent of the Shadow Emergency Alliance (SEAL), you'll need bases to resupply and take on missions. The interactive map will help you quickly locate:
- SEAL Offices and Test Chambers: Key locations for character leveling, combat trials, or psychological evaluations.
- NPC Interaction Points: Such as recruiting instructors, finding merchants who offer "Shock Americano" coffee to restore stamina, or locating special NPCs (like Mr. Shadow or Dawn).
3. Open World Exploration and Fixed Collectibles
HoYoverse games never lack completionist-friendly collectibles. In the massive, realistic modern city of Varsapura, the map will pinpoint the exact coordinates for:
- Scattered Files and Tapes: The demo mentioned "Training Tapes" and various safety brochures. Collecting these will unlock the game's deep lore.
- Upgrade Materials and Currency Chests: Hidden in urban alleys, abandoned buildings, or sewers.
4. Enemy Spawns and Farming Routes
Whether facing the jelly-like basic monsters ("Jellies") or the powerful suit-wearing shadow creatures ("Suits"), players will need to farm materials to upgrade their weapons (such as the unique snake-scale umbrella seen in the demo).
- Elite Shadow Monsters Spawn Points: Exact locations for high-tier enemy drops.
- Custom Map Routing Features: Helping players plot the most time-efficient routes for their daily material farming.
5. Vehicles, Fast Travel, and City Infrastructure
Since Varsapura features a vehicle driving system, the scale of the city is clearly immense.
- Vehicle Spawn Points / Garages: Making it easy for players to quickly grab sports cars or special vehicles.
- Fast Travel Points (Anchors): Allowing players to teleport instantly between vast city districts (like Oakwood or Prudin Hill).
Conclusion
From rainy streets to perilous underground test chambers, the world of Varsapura is full of the unknown. To avoid getting lost in the dense urban sprawl, bookmarking and using a Varsapura Interactive Map will be the smartest decision of your agent career. Stay tuned to our page, as we will update it with the most comprehensive map data as soon as the game launches or enters beta testing!
What's New - Update: 2026-10-09
The newest word on Varsapura came from miHoYo CEO Liu Wei, not from a trailer. At the studio's 2027 campus recruiting talk at Shanghai Jiao Tong University on September 23, GameLook's write-up of attendee video reports that he said the game — he called it 雨城 — will have another test before the end of 2026. He also described the structure: the main story mostly introduces the world, and side content is the real focus, built around a "different path for every player" idea. The Paper confirmed the same talk and his pledge that miHoYo intends to be a major domestic large-model team within two to three years; it did not quote the test date itself. That lines up with the confidential Windows test already run this summer. Recruitment opened on July 2 for mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and the first small, data-wiping round wrapped in mid-August.
Nothing since then has turned into a public announcement. The official Weibo account for 雨之城, verified on September 2, is still empty, and Varsapura did not show up in the September 3 State of Play. No global test, platform list, or release date has been posted. The summer paper trail is unchanged: software copyright for 米哈游雨雾之都游戏软件(V0.1) on June 15, 43 art copyrights on July 24 under the internal code "UC", and early-August trademark registrations for 雨之城, 雨雾之都, and 云雨之城. An unofficial "AGC" AI video tool tied to Varsapura footage circulated in early September; miHoYo has not confirmed it. The November 2025 gameplay demo is still the only public look at the game.
Release Date Prediction
As of now, the only official look we have at Varsapura is the gameplay demo revealed in November 2025. Coupled with the fact that the team is still actively hiring, it is clear the game is still deep in its development phase.
To predict the release timeline, we can analyze the historical patterns of other major HoYoverse games:
- Time to First Closed Beta (CBT): Historically, HoYoverse launches a game's first closed beta test within 1 to 3 months of its official announcement. For example, Honkai: Star Rail started its first CBT the same month it was announced (October 2021), and Zenless Zone Zero held its first test about three months after its initial reveal (August 2022).
- Beta Testing to Official Release: The duration from the first CBT to the global launch typically spans 1.5 to 2 years. Genshin Impact took roughly 15 months, Honkai: Star Rail took 18 months, and Zenless Zone Zero took about 26 months to undergo multiple beta phases before finally releasing.
Our Best Guess: Since the November 2025 showing was an early gameplay demo rather than a beta recruitment drive, we anticipate the first official Closed Beta Test could begin in mid to late 2026. Factoring in the typical 1.5 to 2 years of testing and polishing, our best guess for the Varsapura official release date is late 2027 to 2028.
